BWDR NETWORK

For single black women like myself who fall in the category of the 47% of black women that are single. Due to one or more of the following: A high percentage of black men in prison, a high percentage of black men dating and marring non-black women, a high percentage of black men who are "down low brothers (bi-sexual men) and or gay black men, most non-black men wanting not to commit to a black women, and of course divorce. The percentage of 47% of single black women is increasing every year. Oparh and Tyro Banks has both had show regarding this issue. This conversation between women is coming up more and more as the years keep passing by and more and more black women are being some how left out of committed relationships. I am here simply to support women of all back grounds but especially black women. I am here to simply make friends and connect with women like my self. Now I have not given up on our black brothers nor have I given up hope that I will find any man of any color. But at this point in my life. I am no longer searching... looking but not searching. If he come to me wonderful... but if not. I am going to adopt a child at the age of 40 (which is only in a few years) and call it a life.
